Consistency doesn’t happen by accident. I create web style guides that give your designers and developers a shared language — clear rules for colors, typography, spacing, and components — so handoffs are smooth and nothing gets lost in translation.
IRRAflow® - Simplifying the Complex
When the technology is this advanced, the interface has to get out of the way. Working with product management, I helped redesign the onscreen controls for IRRAflow — a fluid management system built for neurosurgeons managing intracranial pressure in real time.
The original controls did the job, but the goal was to make a sophisticated system feel approachable under pressure. Fewer decisions on screen, clearer feedback, less cognitive load at exactly the moment it matters most.
The device is remarkable. The interface just needed to keep up.
Before & After: One Brand, Every Screen
The before is a familiar problem — each app doing its own thing, no clear visual thread connecting them. Functional, but not cohesive.
Working with the TurningPoint development team, I built a shared design language across all their web apps. Common components, consistent brand elements, one system that scaled across every product and device. Not to make everything identical — just to make it all feel like it came from the same place.
