I’ve been making things look right for over 25 years. That covers a lot of ground — and that’s intentional.

My career has never fit neatly into one lane. I’ve art directed brand campaigns, built software design systems, created illustrations, produced video and animation, designed hardware packaging, led UX workshops with engineering teams, and somewhere in between, helped a ladder company win the internet during March Madness. The range isn’t accidental — it’s how I’m wired.

I started in traditional graphic design and grew into creative direction naturally, the way most people do when they’re curious and keep saying yes to hard problems. Running creative at Turning Technologies for nearly a decade meant overseeing everything — brand identity, product design, marketing collateral, software UI, multimedia displays, and a style guide used by over 2,000 employees and partners worldwide. That kind of scope teaches you how all the disciplines connect.

Now through PALO Creative, I bring that same wide-angle thinking to clients who need more than a single deliverable. Whether it’s building a unified design system for Parker Hannifin across a user base of four million, designing a medical device interface with neurosurgeons in mind, or crafting a social campaign from concept to execution — the work changes, the standards don’t.

Good creative direction means knowing which discipline the problem actually needs, then executing it well. After 25 years, I’ve built up a pretty honest answer to both.
